New ISP

I’ve just started using mediacom’s cable modem service. Sprint Broadband has been quite slow for the past few months, and are taking on no new customers. I could see the writing on the wall.

So far, so good. mediacom is definitely faster.

The DNS change seems to have propagated much quicker than expected. Only around 4 hours for me to see the change, and for email to start arriving at desertsol.com again.

Now here’s hoping my IP address doesn’t change often.
